Something strange is happening in the metropolis of Jackson City. There have been... sightings, all over the Eastside.

The police are nervous - who is this mystery man? He shows up to stop a crime, then disappears into thin air!

The people are curious - rumor has it that he has supernatural powers and an invisible car!

The victims he's helped love him. "He came down out of nowhere, like a Hawk in the Night!"

David Bradford is Nighthawk, a super hero created with top secret technology. He's ready to take on the city, but will all his good deeds finally quiet his conscience?

Nighthawk edition by Michael James Alexander Literature Fiction eBooks

I really enjoyed this book. David Bradford, an Army guy with the Black Ops is struggling with his conscience and refuses to obey an order from a corrupt General. He is court-martialed and sent to prison. After two years he is released to the custody of wealthy entrepreneur who wants to fix him up sort of like the Six Million Dollar Man. David is given enhanced hearing, vision, physical speed and strength and improved endurance. He has a smart car similar to Knight Rider's KIT and a protective costume. Although the Pentagon is involved with the entrepreneur because they want his technology, they are tricked into thinking the project was destroyed in an explosion caused by Chinese sabotage and that David was killed.

David acts a lot like Superman. He protects the innocent and leaves unconscious bad guys to be picked up by the police. He is not a vigilante. He rescues the Mission pastor and his sister from the local drug lord and forms a friendship with them. The rest of the book is about his efforts to bring the drug lord to justice and protect his family and himself from the corrupt General who discovers he is alive. In the process he comes to faith in Christ.

This book is more of an action/adventure story. There is some attraction to the mission pastor's sister but more like friendship. It is not a romance. But maybe if there's a sequel???

Nighthawk edition by Michael James Alexander Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

Yes the backlight will remind you of Batman and many other child hood favorites but add God to the mix and you get the best crime fighter ever. Beyond that you get a good insight to answers about what God really wants from His children.
MJA combines the excitement of special forces, police work and the nurturing efforts of a nano adjusted man. Nano man constantly questions the difference between right and wrong...An excellent read.....ER
It was an interesting fast paced read. It's not my normal sort of thing though. I am going to look to see if there is a book two as the whole thing with Sarah was left wide open. But that could just be because this wasn't truly intended as a book for an audience of females
i watched or read or used the item. You can look at my "star" review. I have nothing else to say about the product.

Am I thew only one who resents having to type x number of characters and I have to Headline my review. Why does force their customers to serve them???
This is the best book that I have read. It is a Christian book. The story line flows smoothly, and grips you. You want to keep reading. You don't want to stop, even at the end of the book you want more! I hope the author writes at least one more book!
The story is well written and the tech is interesting. The main arch was engrossing in the beginning and middle. The ending was ok, but compared to how stellar the rest of the book was, it was a little disappointing.

I would classify it as Christian SciFi, but it is not overly preachy. It folds some religious aspects into the life of one of the characters.

Well worth giving it a shot.
I was really into this at first, a multimillionaire decides to build his own superhero who wouldn't think that was cool? And it started off great, David meets the two gentlemen who explain the project and they help him get out of jail so he can be their test subject. He gets the implants they fake his death and he starts fighting crime. Perfect right? Then it starts to head in a strange direction, Sarah and her brother Daniel are introduced. These two characters bring with them an aspect to the story that I wasn't expecting and quite honestly didn't really see the need for. I was expecting something a little different based on David's history and it definitely threw me off. Personally it was a downer for me and turned what could have been an awesome book into a just ok book.
